Condition Grade Guide

Packaged Cars

Mint
Factory-fresh, untouched packaging. Card is perfectly flat with sharp corners, bright colors, no creases, and no price stickers. Blister is crystal clear, firmly sealed, and free of dents, yellowing, or cracks.

Near Mint
Excellent overall appearance with only very minor flaws. Card may show light shelf wear such as tiny edge nicks or a faint crease. Blister remains clear and firmly attached, though it may show slight surface scuffs.

Good
Solid display piece but with noticeable wear. Card could have creases, soft corners, sticker residue, or some fading. Blister may have small dents, light yellowing, or slight lifting along the edges, but still intact.

Fair
Well-worn packaging with heavy handling or storage wear. Card may be creased, torn, or warped. Blister may be yellowed, cracked, dented, or partially detached. While not collector-grade, the car remains protected and displayable.

Loose Cars

Mint
Perfect condition, just as it left the package. No paint chips, scratches, or wear on the wheels. All parts intact, decals crisp, and no signs of play or handling. Collectors consider mint the highest standard.

Near Mint
Almost flawless, but with the slightest signs of handling or age. May show tiny paint rubs, light edge wear, or minor decal fading, but overall still displays beautifully. Wheels and axles remain straight and smooth.

Good
A well-kept car that shows moderate play wear. Noticeable paint chips, scratches, or small decal loss may be present. Wheels may have some wear, but the car remains structurally solid and displays nicely for a collection.

Fair
Clearly loved and played with. Heavy paint loss, scratches, worn wheels, or bent axles may be visible. Decals could be faded or missing. While not pristine, fair-condition cars still carry nostalgic charm and can make great placeholders or restoration projects.
